Kit Instructions:
Begin by laying out your flowers and seeing what all you have! There are lots of hidden gems in these flower packs!
Sort your flowers, fruit, mushrooms and/or greenery.
Open and lay out your frame with the chain side at the top when opened.
You will be gluing your flowers to the top rectangle. This will ensure that your design is right side up.
Flower placement:
Place greenery first as the background
Work top to bottom so as you layer, the flowers at the bottom of the frame will end up on top
Place small flowers at the top, and larger flowers towards the bottom (this gives depth to your frame and makes the flowers at the bottom look closer to you)
Symmetry is great for some of your frame, but not all (it won’t look natural), think in ODD #’s when possible
Overlap and fill in spaces
I recommend leaving stems on for a more natural look
Use tweezers to work with the delicate flowers and to prevent fingerprints on your glass frame
Use as little glue as possible
Use everything… even single, broken petals and leaves add a lot of detail and character to your piece!
Remember, nature is perfectly imperfect.
Flowers are beautiful. Your frame will be, too!
